1. Security Check Before Entry

All spectators must go through a security check before entering. Large bags are not allowed. Spectators must ensure they are not carrying any dangerous items before entering the venue.

2. Prohibited Items

For the safety of players and spectators, glass bottles and canned beverages are not permitted inside. Only paper-pack drinks are allowed during matches. Any item that could be used as a weapon will be confiscated.

3. Electronic Devices and Infants

Certain electronic communication devices — including televisions, radios, and computers — are not allowed, as their noise may disturb the players. Similarly, please avoid bringing infants, as their sounds are difficult to control.
In short, follow the regulations when entering: do not bring prohibited items. This will save you unnecessary trouble and time.

4. Take Your Seat Before the Match Starts

(1) Tennis players switch sides after every odd-numbered game, taking a short break — except after the first game, when they only change sides without sitting down. Spectators are not allowed to enter during this time.
Spectators should take their seats quickly with the help of staff during side changes (after the 3rd, 5th, 7th games, etc.) or between sets. If you haven’t found your seat when the match begins, stay where you are and move to your seat during the next side change. Avoid standing or walking around during play.

(2) In stadiums with stands, take your assigned seat before the match starts. Do not linger in aisles or sit on railings. For courts without stands, watch only from outside the barrier net — never enter the court.

(3) If multiple matches are occurring on different courts, move to another court only after a point has finished. Walk quietly behind the barrier and avoid interrupting any ongoing match.

5. Maintain Silence During Play

Once a match begins, remain absolutely quiet. Do not eat, chat, or make noise that could distract players or others. Turn off your mobile phone or set it to silent/vibration mode.

6. Applause and Cheers

Applaud or cheer only after a point has completely finished.

7. Interaction with Players and Officials

Do not talk to umpires or players in any form — including asking for the score, disputing calls, or shouting encouragement directly to players.

8. Handling Balls

If a ball flies into the stands, only return it to the court after the point is over. Never toss it back during play, as this will disrupt the match.

9. Photography

If you wish to take photos, never use flash.

10. Smoking Ban

Smoking is strictly prohibited within the venue.

11. Drone Ban

The use of drones is strictly prohibited within the venue.

12. National Anthem Etiquette

According to Article 3 of the National Anthem Ordinance, the National Anthem of the People’s Republic of China must be played and sung in a manner that shows due respect.
When the anthem is performed, all participants should stand solemnly and behave respectfully — showing no disrespect toward the anthem.

  1. Do not walk around during the match.

  2. Do not clap during a serve.

  3. Do not make noise during play.

  4. Do not use your mobile phone during the match.
